The role will encompass architecture and development across all tiers of the application stack.</p> <p>You will be part of a talented engineer team that work on low-latency mission-critical applications. Roles and responsibilities include application architecture and development across full software development lifecycle, collaborating with like-minded engineers. Managing and technically leading team of highly skilled software engineers, forging relationships with key stakeholders across diverse user base.</p> <p>Primary duties will include:</p> <ul> <li>Build relationships with key stakeholders to drive product development </li><li>Lead team(s) of software engineers providing architectural and technical direction </li><li>Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle working within Agile methodology </li><li>Support continuous improvements by investigating leading edge technologies and presenting these for architectural review </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To land this role you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 7 years' experience in mobile app development </li><li>Proven experience building and leading technical teams, providing direction and guidance, working with global teams </li><li>Strong experience in architecture and development of Android/iOS applications and have deployed on Google Play/App Store </li><li>Strong knowledge with JavaScript & TypeScript, virtual DOM, asynchronous programming </li><li>Understanding and experience in ES6, ES10, JSX </li><li>Experience working with popular libraries for networking, asynchronous, image loading, etc. </li><li>In-depth knowledge with React Native framework, patterns for code reuse, state management libraries, routing architecture </li><li>Experience optimizing app performance, manage memory, and reduce load times </li><li>Experience with TDD/BDD, testing framework (Jest/React-testing-library/JUnit) </li><li>Some experience developing distributed systems using Microservice architecture (event-based) </li><li>Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) </li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) </li><li>Exposure with distributed messaging / streaming platforms (Apache Kafka ideal) </li><li>Experience with Relational and No-SQL databases </li><li>Fluent English </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject </li></ul> <p>Working environment:</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid </li></ul>
