And under this roof, we protect what matters most.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Senior Site Procurement Lead role will serve as the procurement oversight and subject matter expert for sourcing goods and services needs for their local GAF site and supporting others within their region. They will report into the Regional Procurement Leader. This role will be the face of procurement excellence for Indirect Procurement activities at the Operating Site. They will ensure streamlined procurement processes for their site by collaborating proactively with their business stakeholders, which includes but is not limited to: Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Transportation, Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, and EHS. Working in the center-led procurement team, they will help drive optimal cost while supporting safe operations, high quality, and leading streamlined procurement processes within their site.</p> <p>The ideal candidate puts the internal customer first, is highly collaborative, and has influential skills, aligned work experiences and deep process knowledge of procurement (S2P business processes). They will drive procurement strategies and programs for their site while ensuring they meet productivity requirements and the needs of the businesses. This role participates in both regional and network wide procurement programs and manages local supplier relationships. Responsibilities include upholding effective strategies, a strong understanding of systems functionality, processes, and working with cross-functional partners to support simplification, standardization, leverage, and compliance.</p> <p>Essential Duties</p> <ul> <li>Execution of Procurement strategies in support of business strategies. </li><li>Develop and maintain effective local supplier partnerships. </li><li>Continuously seek to improve total cost for site indirect materials. </li><li>Proactively implement and drive effective risk mitigation strategies for key materials. </li><li>Collaborate with Regional and Site Procurement Team peers on Procurement strategy, and supplier strategies. </li><li>Ensure site compliance and enable improved performance management by upholding contractual obligations and securing agreements in place for all supplier relationships. </li><li>Drives the strategy to leverage key suppliers across sites, and consolidation opportunities as negotiated by Category Managers. </li><li>Participate in supplier risk evaluations for key and single sourced items. </li><li>Ensure the procurement of required services is in alignment with EHS requirements </li><li>Lead consolidation of spend on site by collaborating with centralized teams across the network to develop synergies of materials and suppliers across the network. </li><li>Lead site cross functional collaborative efforts to streamline and better enable S2P processes. </li><li>In coordination with the legal department and ISC category manager guidance, develop applicable contracts and agreements. </li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to select suppliers, negotiate and develop the best value for GAF. This includes coordinating/conducting RFPs and competitive bidding events. </li><li>Participate in cross functional team projects involving HQ to ensure value is attained through early involvement. </li></ul> <p>Under This Roof We Require</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Related Field Required </li><li>Experience understanding and supporting the socialization and execution of strategies with clear goals and priorities. </li><li>5+ years of Industrial manufacturing and/or similar experience, with 5+ years of procurement experience. </li><li>Negotiating and contract-authoring experience. </li><li>Demonstrated business and financial acumen. </li><li>Business acumen - creating, positioning, negotiating commercial arrangements to deliver competitive advantage. </li><li>Data analytics to provide data driven procurement solutions. </li><li>Leadership skills to nurture strong working ties with site leadership and operations teams. </li><li>Negotiation skills-Managing and negotiating contracts to meet business needs and objectives. </li><li>Collaborate closely with manufacturing team mates on site to resolve supply issues and implement procurement strategies. </li><li>Analyze spending to achieve optimal TCO, use market insights, and benchmark best practices to improve our supplier network. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement by leveraging data and market insights resourcefully to drive cost improvements and strengthen supplier relationships. </li><li>Supplier Relationship Management. </li><li>Negotiate contracts and purchase order terms and conditions with the inclusion of Legal, Risk Management, Business leadership and Finance, as required. </li><li>Good analytical and quantitative skills </li></ul> <p>Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Procurement experience </li><li>Customer Service orientation </li><li>Expertise working cross functionally in a matrixed environment </li><li>Ability to simplify complexity </li><li>Collaborative with the ability to influence others </li><li>Process improvement mindset with the ability to critically analyze opportunities & connect the right resources to drive the improvement </li><li>Bias to action/breaking down barriers/finding & driving solutions </li><li>Comfortable with mining data and data analytics </li><li>Solid technical skills with comfort learning new systems quickly </li><li>Proficient in G Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs, gMail) </li></ul> <p>Under This Roof We Prefer</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of Industrial manufacturing and/or similar experience, with 5+ years of procurement experience preferred. </li><li>Experience within procurement or supply chain with a strong ability to gain partnerships with cross-functional partners </li><li>Influencing best practice standardization in procurement </li><li>SAP S/4 HANA and Ariba experience is a plus </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Stationary Position - Frequently </li><li>Stationary Position/Seated - Frequently </li><li>Position Self/Stooping - Occasionally </li><li>Position Self/Kneeling - Occasionally </li><li>Position Self/Crouching - Occasionally </li><li>Reaching - Occasionally </li><li>Handling - Occasionally </li><li>Grasping - Occasionally </li><li>Communicate/Talking - Frequently </li><li>Communicate/Hearing - Frequently </li><li>Repetitive Motions - Frequently </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Temperature Change - Occasionally </li></ul> <p>Dimensions</p> <p>Number of Indirect Reports: 0</p> <p>Number of Direct Reports: 0 Travel Requirements: 10%</p> <p>Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
