<p>Position Overview</p> <p>Full performance level in the equipment operation occupation requiring considerable knowledge of multi-unit vehicles and waste disposal equipment; under direction, operates vehicles such as solid waste tractor/tipper-trailer.</p> <p>Summary of Job Duties</p> <p>Drives highway tractor with tipper-trailer from transfer station to landfill or other destination; transports with tractor/dump-trailer;</p> <p>Performs minor repairs and adjustments to equipment; checks and services (i.e., preventative maintenance) equipment; greases and oils machinery; complete check-off list for equipment conditional completes maintenance records.</p> <p>May serve as a backup to Equipment Operator I's if needed and qualified.</p> <p>(Performs Related Duties As Required)</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications and Requirements</p> <p>Equivalent to high school diploma and two (2) years of equipment operation of listed above; valid State of Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements; must pass Department of Transportation physical exam.</p> <p>(Other evidences may be submitted)</p> <p>Supplemental Information</p> <p>Montgomery County offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined on the role, experience, skill set and qualifications.
