<p>Here is how the Maintenance Technician role will impact our business:</p> <p>As a Maintenance Technician with EQT you will be responsible for operating, installing, performing preventative maintenance, and making repairs on pipelines, locations gas producing equipment and infrastructure.</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Operates, troubleshoots and performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs of natural gas engines, electric motors, auxiliary equipment and gas compressors. </li><li>Starts up, shuts down compressor units and assists with major equipment overhauls. </li><li>Takes readings (pressures, temperatures, volumes hours run, etc.) and records them in a computerized database (Maximo). </li><li>Assists with the troubleshooting and repairs of gas fired engines, electric motors and compressors. </li><li>Operates various types of equipment and tools used in pipeline and facilities construction. </li><li>Performs basic operational tasks such as blowing drips, emptying tanks, refilling fluids and checking tank levels. </li><li>Loads and unloads material and equipment from trucks as required. </li><li>May be required to work as a rig hand on company swab rig assisting the rig operator with day-to-day operations. </li><li>Complete 100% work in Maximo. </li><li>Ability to assist welders as directed by management. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>At least one year of experience in a related field or industry </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Basic electrical, controls, process and mechanical aptitude </li><li>Ability to pass a physical capabilities test (which includes, but is not limited to, lifting and carrying 70 lbs., walking 1/2 mile at various inclines, etc.) necessary to demonstrate the physical ability to perform the essential functions of this job. </li><li>Basic knowledge of dehy operation and maintenance </li><li>Ability and willingness to travel </li><li>Will be required to work on-call and off shift rotation as dictated by schedule. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of oil and gas operations </li><li>Knowledge of pressure regulation systems and pneumatic systems. </li><li>Basic skills and a knowledge of excavation equipment and capabilities preferred. </li><li>Basic gas quality processing and conditioning skills preferred </li><li>Basic skills and a knowledge of excavation equipment and capabilities preferred </li></ul> <p>This role is covered under PHMSA / FMCSA regulations.</p>
