Emphasis on good analytical skills and ability to source other/outside resources to resolve issues, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic and mechanical problems; repairing and replacing faulty components or parts, installing new machines and equipment, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, maintaining parts and supplies inventories.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Emphasis on good safe work practices and familiarity with safety procedures. Solid communication skills and the ability to work well with others. </li><li>Good analytical skill set and a sense of urgency when it comes to completing work. </li><li>Perform reactionary maintenance (i.e. repair machines, equipment, etc., when required, as such goes down). </li><li>Preventative maintenance can carry out tasks and responsibilities associated with maintenance of equipment, building and grounds, etc. </li><li>Plan and carry out tasks and responsibilities associated with special projects on existing or new equipment or facilities. Assumes responsibility for managing projects as assigned. </li><li>Perform most types of tool & die and fixture jobs. </li><li>Miscellaneous duties projects and responsibilities as assigned. </li><li>Ability to learn how to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems and control circuits. </li><li>Ability to solve mechanical problems; repairing and replacing faulty components or parts, installing new machines and equipment, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications(Knowledge, skills, and abilities)</p> <ul> <li>Works well within a small team to solve collective problems. </li><li>Proactively reaches out across departments to collaborate. </li><li>Encourages teamwork with all department and/or facility members. </li><li>Communicates well with fellow department and/or facility members. </li><li>Accepts training readily, quickly understands new concepts. </li><li>Shows willingness to offer training to fellow department members. </li><li>Performs a task with limited supervision and may require that you provide guidance to fellow employees. </li><li>Demonstrate the ability to work on a team to achieve departmental results. </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and work regulations including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety rules. </li><li>Attend meetings and complete safety training as required.
