This role ensures that Waldom is shipping cost-effectively, compliantly, and in alignment with customer expectations and supplier agreements.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>FREIGHT COST OPTIMIZATION & ANALYSIS</p> <ul> <li>Analyze freight costs, carrier invoices, surcharges, and accessorial fees across parcel, LTL, FTL, and international modes. </li><li>Develop tools, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor freight spend and performance. </li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actionable improvements. </li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. </li></ul> <p>FREIGHT AUDIT & BILLING ACCURACY</p> <ul> <li>Review freight invoices for accuracy against contracted rates. </li><li>Dispute incorrect charges and coordinate credits. </li><li>Partner with Finance for accurate freight allocation. </li><li>Maintain documentation for freight audits and compliance. </li></ul> <p>CARRIER MANAGEMENT & PERFORMANCE</p> <ul> <li>Support negotiation preparation via rate comparisons and performance analysis. </li><li>Monitor on-time delivery and service failures. </li><li>Partner with operations to resolve carrier issues. </li></ul> <p>OPERATIONAL SUPPORT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT</p> <ul> <li>Improve cartonization, DIM weight management, and shipment consolidation. </li><li>Support FTZ-related freight tracking. </li><li>Participate in CI projects aligned with CultureWise fundamentals. </li><li>Assist Customer Service and Sales with freight quotations. </li></ul> <p>DATA & SYSTEMS</p> <ul> <li>Use ERP, TMS, and BI platforms to analyze freight data. </li><li>Maintain freight tables, zones, and routing data. </li><li>Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field. </li><li>2+ years freight or logistics experience. </li><li>Strong analytical and Excel/Sheets skills. </li><li>Experience with parcel and LTL carriers. </li><li>Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Distribution or electronics experience. </li><li>Familiarity with TMS, BI tools, and ERP systems. </li><li>Knowledge of FTZ operations and trade compliance. </li><li>Continuous improvement or Lean background. </li></ul> <p>Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
