<p>Salary/Position Classification</p> <ul> <li>$6,079+ contract, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) </li><li>8.01 hours per week </li><li>This position will work onsite the Grand Forks, ND campus. </li></ul> <p>Purpose of Position</p> <p>The College of Arts & Sciences seeks a part-time instructor to teach A&S 351: Intro to Law & Legal Studies. This is an on-campus course.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>The successful candidate will contribute to the College of A&S through teaching A&S 351: Intro to Law & Legal Studies.</p> </li><li> <p>All faculty are expected to hold scheduled office hours and be available to consult with students.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills </li><li>The ability to teach, inspire, and mentor students </li><li>Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students </li><li>Ability to work with and engage diverse students and colleagues </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Earned J.D. or master's degree in related field </li><li>Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check </li></ul> <p>In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
