The Production Electrician also serves as the on-site subject matter expert for electrical matters, performs planned and unscheduled work, and provides advice and training to new personnel, including Mechanic I level, and Mechanic II level employees.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Repair, replace, and maintain electrical wiring and circuits on assets in the production facility in a timely manner </li><li>Troubleshoots equipment for electrical issues to prevent malfunctions and, or identify opportunities for improvements </li><li>Programs electrical and electronic equipment and handles the installation, maintenance, and repairs for electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems </li><li>Participates in the installation of new or modified assets and ensures optimal functionality of electrical components </li><li>Maintains electrical drawings (paper or electronic) </li><li>May perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Adequate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) </li><li>Electrical experience in manufacturing equipment repair or parts is preferred </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Ability to collaborate and work well with others </li><li>Ability to work independently or in a team-driven setting </li><li>Basic decision-making skills; uses independent judgment </li><li>Dedication to continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school </li><li>Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school </li><li>Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Electrical </li><li>Electrical Certification or previous 1-3 years experience </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Noisy, wet, and extreme temperature environment</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.</p> <p>Nearest Major Market: Columbia</p> <p>Nearest Secondary Market: South Carolina</p>
