Oversees handling of lawsuits regarding coverage and liability. </li><li>Oversees all claims related functions and provides feedback and suggestions for Claims Leadership. </li><li>Develop a partnership with sales and underwriting to deliver customer service and foster agency relationships consistent with Preferred Mutuals mission, vision, and values. </li><li>Use data and analytics to identify trends and make sound decisions. </li><li>Ensures compliance with Department initiatives and Compliance related matters. </li><li>Participates in screening and hiring new associates. </li><li>Contribute to the organizational goals and objectives. </li></ul> <p>KEY CAPABILITIES FOR SUCCESS:</p> <ul> <li>A team player with a propensity for fun. </li><li>Great coaching skills. </li><li>A strong customer focus. </li><li>Candidate will possess sound technical skills related to the roll. </li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize. </li><li>Extremely strong written and verbal communication. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills. </li><li>Technologically oriented. </li><li>Creative thinking. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience; no management experience required but preferred </li><li>Insurance education: AIC, SCLA, CPCU or equivalent preferred but not required. </li><li>Familiar with state regulations and policy coverages. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication, listening, team building, organization and negotiation skills. </li><li>Effectively interact with brokers/agents, exhibit excellent customer service, and exude a highly professional appearance. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to respond to claims trends by implementing programs that are beneficial to the company (i.e., alternative dispute resolution). </li><li>Team-skilled in the areas of cooperation, group decision-making, and problem solving. </li><li>Strong time and project management skills that support continued process improvement, as well as the achievement of goals and objectives. </li><li>Strong knowledge of litigation management and policy interpretation. </li></ul> <p>ABOUT US: As a mutual company, we are independent by nature, so we think about insurance solutions a little differently.
