This position will teach at Cumberland in the morning session and Central in the afternoon session.</p> <p>Mission</p> <p>The mission of District 62 is to cultivate an inclusive, innovative learning environment that inspires students to explore robust academics, advance their potential and to be compassionate lifelong learners.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li>Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2.Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an elementary endorsement. 3. Experience as an elementary teacher is preferred. 4. EL/ML endorsement preferred. </li></ol> <p>District Information:</p> <p>District 62 has approximately 4,500 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.</p> <p>Compensation Information:</p> <ul> <li> <p>This position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. This position includes paid sick and personal time.
