Programs.</p> <p>Role Overview:</p> <p>The Camp Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of summer and school-break camp programs at the Indiana State Museum. The manager is responsible for program development and implementation, budget, hiring, training, and supervision of camp staff. Primary focus will be on maintaining quality camp experiences for youth, both new and returning camp families. Incumbent will also cultivate relationships with camp families to build life-long learners. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting in the facilitation of school-based programs and supporting other programs with the department.</p> <p>Salary Statement:</p> <p>The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,560.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.</p> <p>A Day in the Life:</p> <ul> <li>Research, develop, and facilitate school-aged camp programs and curriculum that align with evaluation data and ISMHS objectives </li><li>Analyze and research trends in camp programming and oversee adaptation of current camp curriculum to address changing needs and interests of the public and to take advantage of new opportunities for the museum </li><li>Maintain and update camp procedures and policies in line with local and national guidelines </li><li>Connect and collaborate with local, regional, and national camp providers </li><li>Purchase, maintain, and prepare all materials for camps.
