<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Blackberry Mountain - Walland, TN</p> <p>Position Type: Full Time</p> <p>Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 Hourly</p> <p>Job Shift: Any</p> <p>Description and Qualifications</p> <p>The Houseperson is an all-purpose position that assists the housekeeping department by maintaining all guest rooms and common areas' cleanliness.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Deep cleaning room as needed </li><li>Delivers clean linen and supplies to the housekeepers when needed </li><li>Removes soiled linen and trash from the housekeepers when needed </li><li>Load supplies for the day </li><li>Attend line up each morning to receive room assignments </li><li>Restock all housekeeping closets on the property with amenities and linens as necessary </li><li>Golf cart maintenance - make sure that carts are cleaned out at the end of the shift and plugged into the charger to prepare for the next shift </li><li>Keep all pantry items in guest rooms stocked and account for all pantry alcohol sales </li><li>Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards </li><li>Must maintain regular and consistent attendance </li><li>Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Some cleaning experience preferred </li><li>Ability to be thorough while cleaning </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members </li></ul> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge and understanding of math </li></ul> <p>REASONING ABILITY</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to stand all-day </li><li>Very physical work, always moving around and lifting, must be able to get on hands and knees to clean </li><li>Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely </li><li>Must be able to work around cleaning supplies/chemicals </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Working in guest rooms and common areas of the property </li><li>5,200 acres of Blackberry Mountain </li><li>Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions </li></ul> <p>About Blackberry</p> <p>Blackberry Mountain, a Relais & Châteaux property, continues a legacy of world-renowned hospitality and unwavering dedication and appreciation for the land.
