<p>Job Description</p> <p>Facilitates the registration of Outpatient Physical Therapy Patients. Interviews patient and/or representatives to obtain identifying information and other data required for registration.</p> <p>Job Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>1.Receives in-coming telephone calls promptly and professionally. </li><li>2.Maintains constant awareness of patient arrival. </li><li>3.Monitors prescriptions for expiration. </li><li>4.Accepts payment from patient as appropriate. </li><li>5.Maintains the patient's privacy and abides to our regulatory agencies. </li><li>6.Orders Lab and Rad tests in the appropriate systems. </li><li>7.Ensures we have appropriate authorizations before patient has scheduled tests. </li><li>8.Sends reports to appropriate physicians. </li></ul> <p>9.Performs related duties, as required.</p> <ul> <li>ADA Essential Functions </li></ul> <p>Job Qualification</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent, required. </li><li>Previous registration or billing experience. </li><li>Knowledge of insurance regulations </li><li>System knowledge, including HIS, Insurance Eligibility, Micro Soft, Omni and HDX </li><li>Communication Skills </li><li>Additional Salary Detail </li></ul> <p>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).</p>
