<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>$7500 Sign On Bonus</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>This person is responsible for procedures by positioning patients, applying sterile technique to catheter insertion sites, applying mobilization and sliding devices, and so forth.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Explains procedures to patients to allay apprehensions and elicit cooperation. Calculates and selects proper technical factors on radiographic, C.T. and fluoroscopic equipment such as voltage, current, exposure time and focal distance based on factors such as patients' size, physical condition, and suspected pathology. </li><li>The ideal candidate will display a drive to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and education for the patient and families, and collaboration with all those who touch our patients. </li><li>The candidate for this critical role also uses critical thinking skills to resolve complex procedural situations & ability to handle emergency high stress situations during high-risk procedures. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Associate's degree program in Radiologic Technology and three years experience in radiologic technology. </li><li>Licensure: Massachusetts license </li><li>Certification: A.R.R.T. registration required. C.V.I.R. registration preferred. C.V.I.R. registration required within 3 years of hire.
