You'll be an integral part of delivering on our brand purpose to provide help and inspire communities everywhere.</p> <p>What you'll bring to the role:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers</p> </li><li> <p>Reconcile and balance accounts</p> </li><li> <p>Generate and analyze financial statements</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and process payroll</p> </li><li> <p>Generate 1099s and W2s and calculate and prepare tax statements</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with clients, client suppliers, vendors and banking contacts</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in client retention and client growth opportunities</p> </li></ul> <p>Your Expertise:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>National bookkeeping and payroll certifications from the National Bookkeeping Association, or the ability to successfully obtain certifications</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 years of bookkeeping experience</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and generally accepted accounting principles & procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to correctly interpret and apply complete instructions, policies and regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to treat confidential information with professionalism and discretion</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical skills and an eye for details</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently</p> </li></ul> <p>It would be even better if you also had...</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with Xero accounting software</p> </li><li> <p>This office is an independently owned and operated franchise office operating under an agreement with H&R Block.?Franchisees make their own hiring decisions and any questions regarding employment at this office should be made directly to the franchisee.</p> </li></ul>
