<p>Dome Catering is seeking Part-Time Event Staff to work on an as needed basis for events at the Dome for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Positions on event day may include, suite hosts, bartenders, event support staff, food runners and servers.</p> <p>As a member of the Dome Catering team, you will play an important role in the experience of guests attending various sports games, events, and concerts in the Dome. You will help set up and break down event areas, attend to the food and beverage needs during events, and display excellent customer service.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma and GED highly preferred </li><li>The ability to read, write, count, and follow instructions </li><li>The ability to communicate well with the public </li></ul> <p>Skills and Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Must be reliable and able to work many of the major events such as SU Football, SU Basketball, and Concerts. Shifts take place on nights, weekends, and some holidays. </li><li>Reliable transportation is a must, buses may not run late enough for some shifts. </li><li>Follow instructions and established procedures to perform duties. </li><li>Excellent Customer service. </li><li>Be able to work on your feet for the duration of a shift. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the set up and break down of events. </li><li>Attend to food and beverage at an event. </li><li>Follow instruction needs of the event. </li><li>Observe safety and health regulations and maintain highest standards of sanitation. </li><li>Move items to and from storage areas to event areas and kitchen. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to perform at each shift: standing, bending, stooping, walking, lifting between 15-50 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Tools/Equipment</p> <ul> <li>The specifics will be based on job duties, example: hot boxes, cold boxes, electric sterno, hot plates, chaffers, etc. </li></ul> <p>Application Instructions</p> <p>Online application required.</p>
