Succeed. #BeHere</p> <p>Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.</p> <p>This job is ON - SITE.</p> <p>FTE: 1.000000</p> <p>Shift: Flexible 1st shift between 7am to 6 pm</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Transplant Financial Coordinator (TFC) is a pivotal position in the Blood and Marrow Transplant program. The role of the TFC is to assure the financial viability of all transplant and cellular therapy referrals throughout the continuum of care. The TFC's primary responsibilities are to ensure that patients being considered for blood or marrow transplantation or cellular therapy have adequate insurance benefits and/or resources identified to ensure the best financial outcomes for both patients and the institution. This includes the verification of benefits for all transplant/cellular therapy related services, working with patients to understand their insurance coverage (including inpatient, outpatient, prescription, housing, travel, etc), helping find insurance coverage for patients, and working with team on disability, financial assistance, etc. The TFC is the primary up-front contact for insurance companies and medical reviewers.
