At ABC Supply, we have YOUR future covered.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Item Creation Specialist purpose is to support ABC's digital initiatives by organizing data content (schema, product attributes, long descriptions, light copy edits, etc.) This includes working with ABC vendors and third-party providers to collect and fill data and attributes required for the support of ABC's products on E-commerce and digital systems. The specialist will ingest, classify, organize, manage, maintain, and secure data assets in ABC's master data management system (Stibo). The specialist is expected to work under direct supervision.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Research products online and through manufacturer catalogs for item data and digital content. </li><li>Gather and transform item data and digital assets to an ingestible format into our Product Information platform (Stibo). </li><li>Cleanse and reorganize existing data to improve visibility within ABC's products hierarchies and Stibo taxonomy. </li><li>Utilize spreadsheets to analyze vendor and third-party item data in order to organize and format item information into our master data management system (Stibo). </li><li>Communicate and collaborate with branch associates to gain further understanding of products. </li><li>Support attribution audits on product data in ABC's master data management system (Stibo). This would include attributes, product images, marketing copy and all other data fields. </li><li>Support team and cross-functional objectives as needed. </li><li>Other duties may be assigned as part of the Item Data creation, maintenance, and enrichment functionality. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. </li><li>Data entry experience and strong computer literacy. </li><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. </li><li>Ability to research product literature and company websites </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, vendor contacts, and third-party providers. </li><li>Strong Organization skills </li><li>An understanding of urgency with flexibility to change </li><li>An openness to learning new things </li><li>Takes initiative to complete tasks </li><li>Understanding of exterior building products and industry preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <p>One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>Success Factors:</p> <p>In addition to the above knowledge, skills, and abilities.
