<p>Job#: 3029384</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>We are hiring a Teller / Banker / Member Service Representative!</p> <p>Role: Teller / Banker / Member Service Representative</p> <p>Supporting: Large Financial Services Client</p> <p>Location: Groton, CT (Onsite)</p> <p>Assignment Type: Contract Only</p> <p>Duration: Approximately 6 months</p> <p>Role Overview:</p> <p>The Teller / Banker / Member Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional in-person service within a high-volume, schedule-driven branch environment. This position is centered on teller-line operations, transaction accuracy, and building trusted relationships during every interaction. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing settings.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide prompt, professional service to members during in-branch interactions </li><li>Perform teller-line transactions including savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, and fraud-related requests </li><li>Verify member identity and review account details for alerts, discrepancies, or irregular activity </li><li>Identify and respond to patterns indicating potential fraud or abuse </li><li>Navigate multiple systems efficiently while demonstrating active listening and engagement </li><li>Recommend additional products or services aligned with member needs </li><li>Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and security standards </li><li>Support a positive, organized, and respectful branch experience </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Required: Cash-handling experience in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Customer service experience; banking or financial services experience preferred </li><li>Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure </li><li>Proficiency with computers and navigating multiple systems/screens </li><li>Strong attention to detail and basic math skills </li><li>Clear verbal and written communication with strong active listening skills </li><li>Sound judgment, professionalism, and adaptability </li><li>Reliable attendance and adherence to scheduled hours </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $16.95 and $19.12 per hour.
