City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and cancer treatment centers and outpatient facilities in the Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix areas.</p> <p>The successful candidate:</p> <p>Schedule</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monday - Friday</p> </li><li> <p>8:30 AM - 5:00 PM</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>The Laboratory Assistant - Pathology is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory activities in compliance with applicable federal, state, and regulatory agency requirements. This role tracks laboratory orders, accessions, and processes surgical and cytology specimens. Assists with frozen section preparation and interventional radiology sample processing, including staining and accessioning. Processes biorepository samples and maintains inventory within designated applications. Maintains pathology and biorepository equipment.
