<p>Kforce's client is seeking a talented System Administrator to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. The first 60 days you are required to be in the office and then you will switch to a hybrid model.</p> <p>Key Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, and other infrastructure components </li><li>Implement and manage advanced security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls </li><li>Apply patches and updates to operating systems and applications, ensuring minimal downtime </li><li>Monitor system performance, optimize configurations, and ensure efficient operation </li><li>Resolve complex technical issues and provide advanced support to analysts and junior administrators </li><li>Oversee and manage Windows and Linux systems, including upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware </li><li>Create, manage, and audit system permissions and user accounts </li><li>Perform regular security tests, security monitoring, and vulnerability assessments </li><li>Maintain and optimize networks and network file systems </li><li>Develop and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures </li><li>Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution </li><li>Participate in on-call rotation* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are required in lieu of degree </li><li>Experience with AWS </li><li>Cloud: networking, VMs, services in the cloud </li><li>Handy sys engineer already - MS 365, Window server infrastructure, handle on how networking works </li><li>Focus on Cloud administrator space </li><li>Experience with Pure storage; Equalogic is good </li></ul>
