<p>Duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:</p> <ul> <li>The Coordinator of International Admissions (ADIA) collaborates closely with the Director of International Student Recruitment to admit and onboard new students; travels to local high schools to recruit and/or participate in web-based recruiting opportunities. </li><li>Evaluate, refine, and enhance the international application file review process and standards, including assessment of international transcripts evaluations and GPA calculations, preparing, reviewing, and admitting all international student applicants. </li><li>Foster strong, productive working relationships with essential campus partners, including Student Financial Services, Student Success Orientation, Advising, and Housing, ensuring comprehensive support for international students. Responsible for creating and leading presentations and ensuring international admissions web content is up-to-date and consistent with other departmental pages. </li><li>Actively engage with and support our international student community during orientation and various campus events. </li><li>Manage student workers whose primary role will be to communicate and engage with prospective and current international students. </li><li>Develop and implement robust strategies to monitor and improve the effectiveness of all international admission activities, from initial engagement and I-20 issuance through to successful matriculation, requiring diligent and thorough follow-up. </li><li>Manage and optimize system-related functions supporting international admissions, including enrollment workflow processes, data processing protocols, and ensuring the integrity of our CRM through regular systematic reviews </li><li>Ensure the smooth transition of prospective students through the completion of the enrollment process. </li><li>The coordinator also acts as a DSO for the University and works with admitted students through the visa immigration process. </li><li>The coordinator assists with assessment efforts of the division and within the unit, including basic tracking of activities, program evaluation, and measurement of departmental outcomes. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>2 years of college student admission/recruiting and/or college advising </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in related field </li><li>Experience with SEVIS </li><li>Experience with college admission </li><li>Experience with student recruitment </li><li>Experience with student/event programming </li><li>Experience with cross cultural communication and working with the university and local community </li><li>One year experience working as DSO, RO, PDSO, or ARO </li><li>First-hand experience working with Banner </li><li>Experience in providing one-on-one academic advisement to students in a college setting </li><li>Familiarity with international credential evaluations </li><li>Familiarity with SLATE CRM </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>A successful candidate will be willing to Background Check? Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).</p>
