<p>Your role</p> <p>We're looking for an International Securities Lending Trader to:</p> <ul> <li>working on the Securities Lending trading team covering the US hard-to-borrow market. </li><li>managing borrow liquidity to facilitate firm and client demand across asset classes. </li><li>managing relationships with lenders and brokers to offer consistent liquidity, pricing and manage risk. </li><li>liaise with sales traders and clients across regions to ensure trading coordination and information flow. </li><li>evaluate financial risk, understand pnl and book positioning. </li><li>work with product and technology teams to build new trading tools to enhance overall offering. </li><li>monitor securities for news/events/ price action that may affect the SBL market dynamics. </li><li>provide daily SBL market color on an ad hoc basis on specific securities as well as the overall market. </li><li>identify potential trading strategies, offer ideas to improve existing trading methods and platform enhancements. </li><li>assist in managing synthetic borrow/ loan book via option reverse conversion structures </li></ul> <p>Detailed salary information:</p> <ul> <li>New York: the salary range for this role is $225000 to $242500 </li></ul> <p>The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Ready to be part of #teamUBS and make an impact?</p> <p>Your expertise</p> <ul> <li>ideally 3+ years SBL trading experience </li><li>Macro analysis and modelling skills, with an ability to communicate trading ideas clearly </li><li>experience in executing cash equity and option orders and managing delta risk in a portfolio of securities. </li><li>experience in corporate action SBL trading (mergers, spinoffs, exchange offers) </li><li>review transactions to ensure accuracy of information and that trades conform to regulations of governing agencies.
