<p>Field Engineer (Satellite/RF/SATCOM/Antenna) needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Aurora, CO.</p> <ul> <li>US citizenship required; active TS/SCI w/CI Poly required* </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze and Monitor system operation, correct system malfunctions and maintain system health Work in an open environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers is ordinary </li><li>Upon acceptance this person will enter into a formal certification process and will be required to obtain and maintain certification for ground terminal operations. </li><li>Knowledge and ability to work on operational systems within an Operational and Maintenance (O&M) industry </li><li>Ability to learn and understand a wide application of technical theories and concepts utilized in this area Ability to work in a multi-tasking dynamic environment under general direction Must be willing to work 12 hour rotating day and night shifts supporting a 7 x 24 mission Must be able to distinguish the difference between colors on a computer monitor (specifically red, blue, white and green) </li><li>Requires the ability to utilize graphical and textual color displays of remote systems to evaluate and respond to mission needs </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant job experience or 5-8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. </li><li>Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required </li><li>Monitored and controlled Satellite Communications, Technical coordination and troubleshooting </li><li>Military experience may substitute for some requirements.
