Take advantage of our tuition assistance and scholarship programs to grow both personally and professionally.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Cardiology Diagnostic Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. This position triages patient for stress testing, reviews prep instructions with the patients, and orders pregnancy testing as needed. The Diagnostic RN preps the patient for the ordered procedure, reviews chart and medications. This position is responsible for running ETTs, Stress Echos and NM studies and administering the appropriate medications for pharmacological studies.</p> <p>In addition, this position if responsible for all codes and EMS coordination resulting from testing. The RN must be able to administer the appropriate meds and maintain the crash cart according to protocol. They are responsible for all EKG changes during the procedure and recovery. This position requires the ability to interpret the finding and report in EPIC according to guideline. The RN must be able to appreciate symptom changes that occur with the patient because of the medication or the test.</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Three (3) years inpatient cardiology-based experience such as Progressive Cardiac Unit, Critical Care Unit, Cardiac Step Down, Cardiology Lab Environment, etc. required. </li><li>One (1) year of experience reading and interpreting telemetry required. </li><li>Experience in a medical office setting in the selected specialty, preferred. </li><li>Experience working with EKG's, cardiac medications and treatment protocols preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree is nursing required. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. </li><li>Must complete Telemetry class within 3 months from date of hire. </li></ul> <p>Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Monday - Friday </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. </li><li>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union. </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $30.00 - $48.00 Commensurate with experience</p>
