<p>Description</p> <p>The Automotive Sales Representative is an energetic, highly motivated, outgoing and hardworking individual interested in selling cars, SUVs, and light-duty trucks.</p> <p>We understand that the first few months as a sales person on commission can be intimidating. During your training period, you do not need to worry about fluctuating commissions as you will earn a minimum monthly commission value.</p> <p>WE OFFER A FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE FOR ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES INCLUDING:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Life (Voluntary and Employer Paid) and Disability Insurance </li><li>401(K) with company match beginning with your first contribution. </li><li>HSA and/or FSA, as applicable </li><li>Paid Time Off, Sick Time, and Company Paid Holidays </li><li>Employee Car Discount Program </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Create and maintain relationships with customers. </li><li>Establish and qualify new customers. </li><li>Sell new and pre-owned inventory. </li><li>Maintain strong knowledge base of vehicle makes and models. </li><li>Maintain above average customer satisfaction rating. </li><li>Complete all required product training. </li><li>Follow up on all sales leads from a variety of sources (phone, walk-ins, internet, referrals, etc.). </li><li>Reach the sales and gross profit objectives set by the Sales Manager. </li><li>Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers. </li><li>Maintain familiarity with all products, programs and dealership policies. </li><li>Provide additional help in areas as needed. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the manager. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Perform ride alongs with potential buyers </li><li>Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time </li><li>Climbing in and out of vehicles </li><li>Occasional stooping and bending </li><li>Ability to lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs. </li><li>Normal range of hearing and vision. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>4 years of Automotive Sales Experience. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing. </li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills. </li><li>Excellent follow-through skills. </li><li>Professional, responsible and customer oriented at all times. </li><li>Ability to maintain a CDL within 90 days of employment (Heavy duty trucks and RVs only) </li><li>Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual (English & Spanish), this is a plus, but not required </li><li>Industry experience is a plus, but not required </li></ul> <p>JOB DETAILS:</p> <ul> <li>Type: Commission </li><li>Compensation Range: OTE $60,000 - $200,000 </li><li>Bonus Eligibility: Yes </li><li>Reports To: General Sales Manager </li><li>Closing Date: Open until filled </li></ul>
