Take advantage of our tuition assistance and scholarship programs to grow both personally and professionally.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. This position acts as a patient advocate and provides support, information and direct care. The Electrophysiology RN educates patients and families on significant cardiology diagnoses and procedures. This position also treats cardiovascular events and assists in performing diagnostic tests such as EKG's. They will interact with patients as well as families both pre- and post-operatively. The RN evaluates and monitors heart related devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac monitors. They will also monitor patient vitals and EKG readings as well as assess and interpret lab results.</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Five (5) years inpatient cardiology-based experience such as Progressive Cardiac Unit, Critical Care Unit, Cardiac Step Down, Cardiology Lab Environment, etc. required. </li><li>Three (3) years' experience reading and interpreting telemetry required. </li><li>Experience in a cardiology based medical office setting preferred. </li></ul> <p>Required License and/or Certification</p> <ul> <li>Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland or Delaware required. </li><li>Completion of CCDS (IBHRE) - Certified Cardiac Device Specialist certification within 24-months of employment required. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in nursing required. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. </li></ul> <p>Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Monday - Friday </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. </li><li>Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance plans, life insurance, paid time off plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, employee assistance, and access to on-site childcare and a credit union. </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $30.00 - $48.00 Commensurate with experience</p>
