<p>Position: Critical Care Transport Paramedic</p> <p>Department: CareFlight Air & Mobile Services</p> <p>Facility: Miami Valley Hospital</p> <p>Shift: Full-time Days 7:00am-7:30pm/ 72 Hours Per Pay</p> <p>The MICU Paramedic functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence. The MICU paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care in conjunction with a CareFlight Nurse during transport and may also provide patient care for patients in Miami Valley Hospital and any Premier Health facility where a Mobile Intensive Care Unit is based. The CareFlight MICU paramedic works with all populations of patients. This position also includes public relations and medical education functions.</p> <p>Education: High School completion / GED; Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Ohio</p> <p>Licensure/Certification/Registration:</p> <p>Paramedic in the State of Ohio</p> <p>The following certifications are required at the time of hire:</p> <p>BLS, ACLS and PALS</p> <p>The following certifications are required within the specified time frame following hire:</p> <p>90 Days- ITLS or PHTLS</p> <p>1 Year - NRP, ATLS (audit)</p> <p>2 Years - CAMTS approved professional certification</p> <p>Experience: Minimum 3 years of full time Paramedic experience required.
