The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.</p> <p>This role pays an hourly rate of $15.50</p> <p>Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching</p> <p>This position will remain open until April 24, 2026.</p> <p>About the Venue</p> <p>The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center features a 12,500-seat arena, 34 luxury suites, 476 club seats, over 54,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space and an arena view restaurant, the Spotlight Grille. The arena is home to Florida State Men's and Women's basketball and is known for its electric atmosphere and fierce home court advantage. Not only a music and sports venue, the arena also is frequently used for trade shows, large catered functions, receptions, religious services, and classes.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk. </li><li>Utilizes and implements M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures. </li><li>Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition. </li><li>Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils and pans after cleaning. </li><li>Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment. </li><li>Maybe asked to step in and help prep on certain occasions. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Some experience working in kitchen atmosphere helpful. </li><li>Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. </li><li>Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment. </li><li>Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations. </li><li>Able to operate standard kitchen equipment to including the broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer and chef knife. </li></ul> <p>Strengthened by our Differences.
