<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This role provides diagnostic and interventional radiology services to patients of all ages by assessing patient needs, performing procedures under physician supervision, and communicating clinical findings. It also involves interdisciplinary collaboration, education of trainees, and leadership in quality improvement and patient care initiatives within the radiology department.</p> <p>New hires may be eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $15,000.00</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assess and prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including evaluating exam appropriateness, reviewing medical history, obtaining consent, and coordinating with referring providers.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of a radiologist, following established protocols and scope of practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Document and communicate clinical findings, making initial observations and ensuring timely, accurate communication with interpreting physicians and care teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Support education and clinical practice development, collaborating with colleagues and training medical students, residents, and fellows.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives within the radiology division to enhance service delivery and outcomes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree* </li><li>Bachelor's degree meets the education requirement for individuals who started earning their R.R.A. certification before Jan. 1, 2023 </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech </li></ul> <p>Certifications/License</p> <ul> <li>Certification by the Certification Board of Radiologist Assistants (ARRT R.R.A) </li><li>BLS and ACLS certifications </li><li>MA Radiologist Assistant License </li></ul> <p>The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.</p> <p>Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
