If you're looking for an industry leader in the high growth area of video, Telestream is for you.</p> <p>QA Engineer - Remote, US</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Identify, document, and analyze issues; determine root causes and verify resolutions meet customer expectations.</p> <p>Execute functional, negative, stress, and regression testing.</p> <p>Enhance and maintain automation frameworks by adding features and resolving stability issues to increase test effectiveness.</p> <p>Develop automated test scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines to reduce regression testing cycle time.</p> <p>Assist in executing test plans and scripts to ensure software meets defined quality standards.</p> <p>Conduct testing across multiple platforms, delivering consistent and reliable test results.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Associate degree in Computer Science, Network and Digital Technology, or related field-or equivalent experience.</p> <p>2+ years of experience in a QA/testing role within a technology-driven environment.</p> <p>Proficiency with Linux-based systems.</p> <p>Strong SQL skills for database validation and query testing.</p> <p>Familiarity with video broadcasting and ABR streaming protocols (e.g., MPEG Transport Streams, DASH, HLS).</p> <p>Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.</p> <p>Solid understanding of various testing methodologies: unit, system, black-box, integration, load/stress, regression, usability, and end-to-end testing.</p> <p>Preferred Additional Skills:</p> <p>Experience with virtualization and container technologies (e.g., Docker, VM hypervisors).</p> <p>Proficiency with REST APIs via scripting or tools like Postman.</p> <p>Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, Shell, Javascript).</p>
