<p>PURPOSE STATEMENT:</p> <p>Responsible for safely transporting patients to and from appointments, activity trips, airport shuttle service and other special events.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Pick up or transports visitors or staff as needed. </li><li>Transport patients for admissions and discharges. </li><li>Assure that all passengers are wearing seatbelts before the vehicle is started. </li><li>Drive company facility vehicle to pick-up supplies or equipment, as needed. </li><li>Respond and adhere to "on call" schedule as required. </li><li>Accurately and appropriately complete all transportation documentation. </li><li>Maintain vehicle log(s) and report maintenance issues to appropriate facility staff. </li><li>Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean and functional. </li><li>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
