<p>Sr. Director - Practice Enablement</p> <p>Department: Value-Based Care Programs</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: 1600 Corporate Center Dr., Monterey Park, CA 91754</p> <p>Reporting To: Shawn Bassett</p> <p>Compensation: $170,000 - $250,000 / year</p> <p>Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Sr. Director of Practice Enablement to lead and oversee the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems across a broad network of largely independent primary care providers. This role will initially focus on integration and optimization efforts in practices located throughout Northern and Southern California, then eventually expand across the nation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with multiple EHR platforms (Elation, eClinicalWorks, Athena) and a proven track record of successfully deploying systems at scale. This is a highly visible, critical role, new role within a fast-paced, startup-like environment within a public company, reporting directly to the Head of Enablement and interacting with executive leadership and the office of the CEO.</p> <p>Our Values:</p> <ul> <li>Put Patients First </li><li>Empower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care Teams </li><li>Operate with Integrity & Excellence </li><li>Be Innovative </li><li>Work As One Team </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>EHR/EMR Implementation & Optimization:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the end-to-end implementation of EHR systems (such as Elation, eClinicalWorks, Athena, and others), ensuring timely and cost-effective rollouts across independent provider offices </li><li>Develop and standardize EHR workflows, templates, macros, and dot codes tailored to the diverse clinical and administrative needs of each practice </li><li>Oversee system testing, training, and post-launch optimization to maximize provider adoption, efficiency, and satisfaction. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Resource Management</p> <ul> <li>Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of project managers, workflow specialists, and support staff as needed to drive successful EHR deployments </li><li>Manage internal and external resources effectively in a resource-constrained environment, ensuring the right expertise is allocated to each phase of the project </li><li>Create scalable processes and best practices for EHR implementations that can be replicated across different sites and geographies </li></ul> <p>Provider Engagement & Change Management</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with independent PCP offices to understand clinical workflows, pain points, and practice requirements for EHR systems </li><li>Act as the primary liaison between providers, internal teams, and external vendors, communicating changes, gathering feedback, and driving continuous improvement </li><li>Develop comprehensive training and support programs to facilitate successful adoption and long-term utilization of EHR systems </li></ul> <p>Operational Excellence & Performance Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor EHR implementation success, user adoption, and system performance </li><li>Leverage data and feedback to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost savings, and improved clinical outcomes </li><li>Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) teams, billing specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure financial and operational integration with the EHR </li></ul> <p>Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Partner with executive leadership and the Head of Enablement to develop strategic implementation roadmaps aligned with organizational goals </li><li>Prepare and present regular project updates, performance reports, and resource needs to executives </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Quality Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all EHR implementations adhere to relevant regulations, including HIPAA, data security protocols, and quality reporting requirements </li><li>Conduct regular audits, assessments, and training programs to maintain compliance and mitigate risk </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>EHR Implementation Expertise: Significant experience implementing EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Elation, eClinicalWorks, Athena), including strong knowledge of best practices and common pitfalls, specifically within primary care context </li><li>Proven experience leading and scaling implementation teams (project managers, workflow specialists, trainers), ideally within independent primary care networks </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work closely with providers and clinical staff, understand their challenges, and translate needs into actionable process change </li><li>High proficiency in building out EMR templates, macros, and dot codes; adept at optimizing clinical and administrative workflows </li><li>Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions, drive efficiency, and measure success </li><li>Comfortable working in a high-growth, resource-constrained environment; able to adapt quickly and navigate ambiguity </li><li>Willingness to travel regularly across NorCal and SoCal for first 6-12 months of hire </li></ul> <p>You're great for this role if you have:</p> <ul> <li>Billing/revenue cycle management </li><li>Clinical background as an RN, NP, or PA </li><li>Existing network/bench of staff </li><li>Experience in environments with high executive exposure, must be comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>This is a hybrid position, where you will work in various provider offices and at home. This position requires regular travel up to 50% to provider offices across California. We are open to candidates across the US, but need to be available for regular and frequent travel to CA for first 6-12 months of hire. </li><li>The target pay range for this role is $170,000 - 220,000 annually.
