This role drives strategic initiatives, enhances internal controls, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement across the group. The Senior Manager will act as a key liaison between finance, IT, and executive stakeholders, influencing decision-making and ensuring financial systems support long-term business growth.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strategic Leadership: Lead the financial systems strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and operational needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Business Partnership: Serve as the primary liaison between finance, IT, and other business units to ensure systems efficiency and compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance financial reporting, automation, and overall system performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Governance & Compliance: Oversee compliance with financial regulations, policies, and best practices, ensuring a strong internal control environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Financial Systems Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of financial systems across the group.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide subject matter expertise on financial systems, ensuring they are optimized for operational efficiency and compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the testing and deployment of new system functionalities and improvements.</p> </li></ul> <p>Business Process Enhancement</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with finance leaders to evaluate and refine business processes, driving efficiency and innovation.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure consistency in finance system workflows, including permissions, approvals, and segregation of duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead initiatives to automate financial reporting, integrate multiple data sets, and enhance cross-functional system interfaces (e.g., Power BI and data lake integration).</p> </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder & Team Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Act as the key point of contact for executive leadership and external consultants regarding financial system advancements.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive financial systems training programs, enabling internal expertise and reducing reliance on external support.</p> </li><li> <p>Support internal audit reviews and maintain audit evidence for financial systems controls.</p> </li></ul> <p>Risk Management & Compliance</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure robust internal financial controls and risk mitigation strategies are in place.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements across all finance operations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Handle additional duties as assigned by Management. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial systems implementation and management</p> </li><li> <p>Qualified accountant (or QBE) with extensive experience in financial systems implementation and management.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven track record in leading finance systems strategy and driving continuous improvement initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong background in internal audit, financial governance, and regulatory compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in financial systems, including Yardi, Power BI, and Microsoft Office 365.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Special Requirements</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
