With our top-tier training and support, you'll help uphold our reputation as a leader in the Western U.S. equipment industry.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Drive to customer locations to service and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to diagnose and repair issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, supervisors, and teammates both verbally and in writing.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate repair situations to determine whether assistance or additional resources are needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and laptop software.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate service records and documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold company core values: Integrity, Discipline, Empathy.</p> </li><li> <p>Express appreciation to customers and verify satisfaction with services provided.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Valid driver's license with a good driving record (required for Field Service travel).</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and basic hydraulics/electrical systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and service software.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Must own a complete set of tools appropriate for equipment maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated and able to work independently.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to attend ongoing training from Arnold Machinery and vendors.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prior experience in servicing forklifts, material handling, or heavy equipment is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Background in mobile field service work preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands & Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Regular walking, standing, and maneuvering on uneven terrain.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent lifting of items over 50 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and lying under vehicles/equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Operation of hand and power tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Use of computers and diagnostic equipment in field conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication via phone, radio, and in-person on job sites and in customer facilities.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain a clean and organized service truck and workspace.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the Service Manager with additional tasks as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Join a company where your mechanical skills, customer service, and commitment to excellence are truly valued.</p> <p>Apply now and take the next step in your career with Arnold Machinery Company.</p>
