Enrollment, the Enrollment Management Slate Systems Manager will serve as the division's lead expert on Slate, driving innovation and operational excellence withing Enrollment Management while collaborating with divisional partners.</p> <p>This role works closely with Undergraduate, Graduate, Financial Aid, Information Technology Services, and campus partners to maintain system configuration, high-quality data, and optimize workflows to support recruitment goals.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Slate CRM Leadership & Administration</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the functional lead and primary administrator ("Slate Captain") for the undergraduate Slate CRM instance. </li><li>Oversee all aspects of Slate configuration and functionality, including workflows, automations, applications, forms, portals, events, and communications. </li><li>Ensure system performance aligns with recruitment, enrollment, and operational goals. </li></ul> <p>Data Management, Reporting & Analysis</p> <ul> <li>Develop, maintain, and optimize queries, dashboards, and reports to support strategic and operational decision-making across the admissions lifecycle. </li><li>Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting to admissions leadership and key institutional stakeholders. </li><li>Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency of prospective student records within Slate. </li><li>Support data-informed planning through analysis, projections, and identification of trends. </li></ul> <p>Admissions Operations & Lifecycle Support</p> <ul> <li>Support and enhance admissions processes for application management, review, scholarship programming, and decision release. </li><li>Ensure efficient handling and maintenance of applicant data and records for a high-volume applicant pool. </li><li>Partner with admissions staff to improve daily operations, remove barriers, and increase efficiency across the enrollment funnel. </li></ul> <p>Process Improvement & Workflow Optimization</p> <ul> <li>Continuously evaluate and streamline processes across the admissions lifecycle to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience. </li><li>Identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement solutions that align with best practices. </li><li>Establish and maintain data standards, operational procedures, and documentation to support consistency and scalability. </li><li>Lead and manage CRM-related projects that advance enrollment strategies and operational effectiveness. </li><li>Serve as a liaison to campus partners and participate in cross-functional committees to support institutional goals. </li><li>Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture within the enrollment division. </li></ul> <p>Systems Integration & Technical Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with campus partners and external vendors to develop, test, and maintain integrations between Slate, Ellucian Colleague, and other third-party systems. </li><li>Serve as liaison to Information Technology, admissions teams, and Technolutions for system updates, enhancements, and issue resolution. </li><li>Test and implement new functionality, ensuring data security and system integrity. </li></ul> <p>Training, Documentation & User Support</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including procedure manuals and workflow guides. </li><li>Provide ongoing training and support to admissions and campus users to ensure effective utilization of Slate. </li><li>Promote best practices and build internal capacity for CRM usage across teams. </li></ul> <p>Professional Development</p> <ul> <li>Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in CRM management and enrollment operations. </li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities and implement relevant innovations to improve processes and outcomes. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties</p> <ul> <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated proficiency in CRM systems, data management, business processes, and project management </li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience with Slate CRM, including advanced query development (e.g., configurable joins) </li></ul> <p>Technology Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Proven experience mapping, evaluating, and improving business processes </li><li>Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and systems </li></ul> <p>Human Relations Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type. </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with a focus on continuous improvement </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with strong customer service orientation </li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams </li><li>Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality </li><li>Commitment to working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences </li></ul> <p>Additional Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Flexibility is required to accommodate evening and weekend activities connected with the recruitment of students to Carroll. </li><li>Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the
