Our Project Management team is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to the agreed-upon scope, deadline, and budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of colleagues across various teams in order to deliver projects according to plan. Project Managers work closely with Stakeholders to define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.</p> <p>A day in the life.</p> <p>As a Project Manager on the Program Management team, you'll define project scope, project success criteria, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. The Project Manager will effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. You will plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using required toolset and track project milestones and deliverables. This role will determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, troubleshoot problem areas, and communicate accordingly. As our Project Manager, you will identify, record, document and track risks and issues. You will conduct project-project review with recommendations and strategies for future improvements. Our Project Manager will use best practices and tools for project execution, while keeping an eye out for improvement opportunities.</p> <p>Ideal candidates for this role will have an inquisitive mind that is not afraid to question current ways of thinking. We are looking for a candidate who has an ability to devise creative solutions to business problems while being highly organized to handle multiple priorities. You will work with and influence a wide range of cross-functional work teams and leaders. This candidate will show strong organizational skills and the ability to quickly learn how to navigate new systems.</p> <p>Our future colleague.</p> <p>We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Skills with MS Office Products including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management tools, such as Planview Portfolios and Smart Sheet</p> </li><li> <p>Proven work experience in project management at varying levels of complexity</p> </li><li> <p>Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and processes</p> </li><li> <p>Experience delivering projects within a Technology organization</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with PDLC and SDLC methodologies</p> </li><li> <p>Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive status reports</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on experience with various project methodologies, including both Agile and Waterfall</p> </li><li> <p>5-7 years of experience within project management</p> </li><li> <p>Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelors degree</p> </li></ul> <p>These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Project Management certifications (such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI) preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Agile Certification CSM, CPM, CAC, CAP, SAfE certifications</p> </li><li> <p>Insurance or Financial Industry experience</p> </li></ul> <p>We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
