<p>Description</p> <p>The Quality Control Inspector reports to the Quality Control Manager to ensure manufacturing meets the requirements on drawings (ie: applicable Codes and Standards, customer specifications, and Feldmeier Equipment SOPs).</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Essential Minimum Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Verification of incoming materials and components </li><li>Use XRF for positive material identification </li><li>Proficiently use calipers and tape measure for inspection of parts </li><li>Ensure manufacturing meets requirements on drawings (ie: applicable Codes and standards, customer specifications, and Feldmeier Equipment SOPs). </li><li>Meet qualification requirements and maintain Certified Individual UM Certification </li><li>Supervise welding tests as needed </li><li>Verify correct build up from drawings </li><li>Verify correct surface finishes are met </li><li>Perform lay-out, fit-up, and final weld inspections </li><li>Witness and sign off on hydrotesting of vessels and/or heat transfer surface </li><li>Verify correct welding procedures are used </li><li>Complete inspection reports and ensure travelers are correctly and accurately completed </li><li>Create ASME and non-code nameplates </li><li>Perform final inspection of equipment prior to shipment </li><li>Work with production staff and Engineering </li><li>Prepare internal Non-Conformance reports for review by the Quality Manager </li><li>Communicate concerns to the Corporate Quality Assurance Manager and Plant Manager </li></ul>
