<p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>100% FTE, Days. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. You will work at the East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.</p> <p>Be part of something remarkable</p> <p>Play an integral role in Maintenance and Engineering Services by bringing your expertise and knowledge to our department!</p> <p>We are seeking an Electrician to:</p> <ul> <li>Use your knowledge of all methods, procedures, practices and tools of the Electrical trade to respond as quickly as possible to system and equipment failures. </li><li>Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and diagrams and follow the policies and procedures of the Maintenance & Engineering Services Department. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED Required </li><li>Four-year apprenticeship in Electrical Trade Required </li></ul> <p>Work Experience</p> <ul> <li>1 year experience performing Journeyman level electrical work in a hospital setting Preferred </li></ul> <p>Licenses & Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Journeyman Electrician in the state of Wisconsin or International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Required </li><li>Valid Driver's License. </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging</p> <p>UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
