Examples of items to be worked on include: escape room sets/props, cabinets, furniture, and metalwork. This team member works closely with colleagues in CNC, Carpentry/Metal Fabrication,Finishing and Assembly. Additionally, this team member will coordinate closely with the paint lead to ensure appropriate levels of supplies are maintained, inventoried, procured, and stored. As with all roles at our company, we expect our team members to be willing to bring flexibility and a positive attitude to their day-to-day work. If we need help packing a truck, we pack the truck. If the floors need sweeping, etc.</p> <p>On the job training is available. All levels of experience are welcome to apply.</p> <p>Direct Manager: Paint Lead</p> <p>Hours & Schedule:</p> <p>Expected Weekly Hours: 40 with possible overtime</p> <p>Travel Expectations: None</p> <p>Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM; evening or weekend overtime as determined by supervisor</p> <p>Oncall: No</p> <p>Rate: $20-$25 hourly depending on experience.</p> <p>Growth:</p> <p>Someone in this role can grow into the following roles: Painter / Finisher, Team Lead, Project Manager, Production Manager.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Surface preparation of a variety of materials including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Hard and softwoods.</p> </li><li> <p>Plywood</p> </li><li> <p>Steel</p> </li><li> <p>Plastic</p> </li></ul> <p>? Surface preparation includes the use of body fillers, putty, caulk and a variety of sanding techniques to ensure the item is ready for final finishing.</p> <p>? Primer application</p> <p>? Occasional assistance in application of finish coats including Paint, stain and sealer.</p> <p>? Diligently tracks information in production management systems; executes systems and processes</p> <p>? Quality checks all items before transferring to next stage of production</p> <p>? Maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized work area</p> <p>? Comply with all safety rules and regulations</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <p>? Loves to win</p> <p>?
