<p>The Control Technician safely installs, tests, calibrates, troubleshoots, and maintains assets which include natural gas compressor stations, pipeline interconnects, SCADA equipment, electrical systems, natural gas measurement, and natural gas odorization equipment. They will also have responsibilities for new construction and equipment upgrades in an assigned service area.</p> <p>In addition to maintaining the equipment, they will also be responsible for calculating, preparing, and maintaining various records and reports including:</p> <ul> <li>Equipment calibration </li><li>Equipment testing </li><li>Schematic drawing and diagrams </li><li>Material requisitions and purchase orders </li><li>Meter tube/orifice plate ratios </li><li>Orifice and positive meter flow rates and capacities </li></ul> <p>Occasional over-night travel will be required.</p> <p>We desire someone who reflects the ONE Gas company values and culture.</p> <p>Personal skills required:</p> <ul> <li>Attention to detail </li><li>Self-starter </li><li>Problem Solver </li></ul> <p>Required experience:</p> <p>Strong computer skills are required and will be a part of the daily duties of this position as related to operating and maintenance activities, equipment setup and maintenance, safety and compliance record documentation, and customer/vendor correspondence.</p> <p>We are seeking candidates with a combination of experience and/or training in the following skills:</p> <ul> <li>Natural gas compression operation and maintenance </li><li>Natural gas measurement operation and maintenance </li><li>Electrical Installations per National Electrical Code </li><li>PLC installation, maintenance, and programming </li><li>HMI installation, maintenance, and programming </li><li>Use of calibration and test equipment </li><li>Use of common hand and power tools </li><li>Networking and data communications </li><li>Interpreting Schematics and P&ID drawings </li></ul> <p>Candidates do not have to have experience or training in all of the above skills in order to be considered for this position.</p> <p>This position requires the ability to work alone as well as work with Maintenance and Operations personnel in resolving field problems. Successfully complete OQ (Operator Qualifications) training on the tasks performed. Responsible for meeting the performance training requirements as set by the Company and local/federal agencies. Mobility to travel in and around office and industrial surroundings and around outdoor job sites as well as the ability to respond to routine and/or emergency situations. This includes the availability to respond to calls 24/7.</p>
