<p>Job Title: Front Desk Agent</p> <p>Location: Best Western Plus- Secaucus, NJ</p> <p>Department: Front Office</p> <p>Reports To: Front Office Manager</p> <p>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at Best Western Plus Secaucus. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome, efficient check-in and check-out processes, and exceptional customer service throughout their stay. The Front Desk Agent will handle guest inquiries, manage reservations, and ensure a seamless experience for all visitors.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcome. </li><li>Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel's property management system. </li><li>Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. </li><li>Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions with comprehensive knowledge. </li><li>Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, ensuring swift resolution to enhance guest experience. </li><li>Process payments, maintain accurate billing, and manage financial transactions. </li><li>Assist with the coordination of guest services, such as transportation, room service, and special requests. </li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby. </li><li>Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure guests' needs are met. </li><li>Support the management team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus. </li><li>Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred. </li><li>Proficient in computer systems, including property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. </li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. </li><li>Must be able to navigate the hotel's premises and assist guests with their luggage when needed. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans. </li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and development within the company. </li><li>A dynamic and supportive team environment. </li></ul> <p>If you are a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests, we invite you to apply for the Front Desk Agent position at Best Western Plus Secaucus.</p>
