<p>Neshaminy School District is hiring a Long Term Substitute Pupil Services Supervisor, anticipated for the period of October - June. Please direct all inquiries to Kevin Kane, Assistant to the Superintendent for Pupil Services. kkane@neshaminy.org</p> <p>General Scope of Responsibilities:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Assistant to the Superintendent for Pupil Services and Special Education, the Supervisor shall direct, plan, organize, collaborate, and support administrative and professional staff to develop, achieve and maintain the best possible educational programs and services for students with consistency and continuity while meeting individual student needs and enhancing programs and services including but not limited to school counseling, home and school visitors/school social work, school psychology, school nursing, homeless services, and student registration. This position will be the primary point of contact for School Psychologists, BCBAs, Home and School Visitors, and School Health Services questions. This position also coordinates and supervises the development of the K-12 Guidance. In addition, the Supervisor will oversee and monitor compliance with state and federal mandates pertaining to Pupil Services; Coordinate and supervise the development of Chapter 15/504 Service Agreements. Oversee and monitor compliance with state (22 Pa Code § 15) and federal (Secion 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973) mandates; Serve as the liaison for the vocational-technical school process related to special education students and procedural safeguards for IEP processes; and manage gifted program development and coordination: monitor compliance with state (22 Pa.
