<p>START stands for Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources, and Treatment. Our goal is to provide stability and prevent disruptive crises in participants' lives. Services are provided 24/7 on-site or remote for crisis response and consultation.</p> <p>The Program Director is responsible to provide direction, oversight and consultation for all program operations, clinical support services, person-centered planning, staff training and development, continuous quality improvement and adherence to program regulations. Our goal is to provide stability and prevent disruptive crises in participants' lives. Services are provided 24/7 on-site or remote for crisis response and consultation.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>To ensure that the values and principles which govern treatment for those with intellectual disabilities and chronic mental illness are foremost in both theory and practice within the program using Evidence based practices and best practices. </li><li>To lead in the design and implementation of a comprehensive program of quality improvement and assurance using appropriate metrics and data collection methods. </li><li>To supervise program staff to maintain an organizational culture and services where professionalism, quality care, employee engagement and empowerment are recognized and rewarded. </li><li>To ensure the development and implementation of training for all agencies to improve the quality of programmatic activities/services and increase the effectiveness of staff interventions. </li><li>To work collegially with others from division/agency, families, staff, START Team, funding sources and advocacy groups to improve program operations and planning. </li><li>To ensure the program team is knowledgeable about corporate strategic operations and divisional goals and how it directly relates to their program. </li><li>To ensure appropriate program planning and treatment plans are in place to meet each individual's needs and that they are able to experience the highest level of independence and recovery possible. </li><li>To monitor and oversee budget and all fiscal aspects to include revenue cycle management, expense monitoring, and adhere to agency policies and budgetary guidelines set forth by Philadelphia Intellectual Disability Services (DBHIDS) and/or PA Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). </li><li>To establish documentation policies and procedures and assure accurate and timely submissions by all staff via both electronic and paper means. </li><li>To determine the direction of the program, guided by overall JEVS mission and goals and goals of CLHS Division, by making and implementing timely, informed decisions. </li><li>To design appropriate administrative systems for the effective and efficient functioning of the program by making the best use of available resources and avoiding duplication of effort, subject to agency policy and approval of the Sr Vice President. </li><li>To ensure timely and accurate compliance with funding source and agency policies and procedures (especially those having to do with personnel and fiscal management); to complete and submit as required all reports, correspondence and documentation. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of a master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or other human service field with 2 years' experience working with people with IDD and mental health needs </li><li>2 years supervisory experience </li><li>Experience collaborating with community service systems </li><li>Must be a certified START Coordinator or can complete the START Coordinator certification process within 6-12 months of hiring </li><li>Prior experience as a START Coordinator and/or START clinical team leader preferred </li><li>Ability to effectively use computers, pertinent technology, and mobile devices </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form </li><li>Ability to support and implement RHD values and beliefs </li><li>Ability to engage clients and staff in effective, therapeutic, and healthy interactions </li><li>Criminal record clearances, as dictated by the assigned programs </li></ul> <p>What we offer:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) </li><li>Tuition Assistance </li><li>Health & Dental </li><li>Paid Vacation/Sick Time </li><li>10-12 Holidays per year </li><li>Reimbursement of mileage and travel expenses </li><li>Excellent supportive business and information tools </li></ul> <p>The base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 - $87,000 annually. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
