<p>Up to $2500 sign on bonus!!</p> <p>Responsible for the safe and effective administration of medically prescribed respiratory care utilizing a variety of equipment and techniques.</p> <p>Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from newborn to elderly that is also customized to a variety of needs that maybe specific to impairments or individual variations in such matters as hearing, sight, language barrier, cultural issues and potential victims of abuse</p> <p>Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of completing AMA approved program for Respiratory Care </li><li>Excellent Work skills </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary for proper assessment, treatment selection and administration in the following areas: airway management, mechanical ventilation, bronchial hygiene and oxygen therapy </li><li>Provides this care as outlined in Respiratory Care policies and procedures taking into consideration patients' individual needs and customizing treatments when appropriate. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Able to communicate effectively with all age groups and provide education. </li><li>Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from newborn to elderly. </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory care </li><li>AS or BA/BS preferred. </li></ul> <p>License/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Current MA Respiratory license </li><li>CRT, RRT preferred. </li><li>BLS certified </li></ul> <p>Age Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.</p> <p>Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.</p> <p>Sturdy Memorial Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
