This individual will also collaborate with senior leaders to develop underlying departmental strategies that support the overall US TI&I strategy, and will lead various initiatives that support the execution of our strategy</p> <p>This leadership role also manages team members responsible for the creation of Executive and Board of Directors presentations, owning our communications strategy and execution, and facilitating employee engagement initiatives for US TI&I.</p> <p>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</p> <p>Strategic Planning and Development:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and articulate the organization's strategy in alignment with overall business objectives. </li><li>Identify emerging trends and assess their potential impact on the organization's strategic direction. </li></ul> <p>Leadership and Collaboration:</p> <ul> <li>Lead cross-functional teams to define and execute strategic initiatives. </li><li>Foster a collaborative environment with stakeholders across business units, functional groups, Parent Bank, and external partners to ensure cohesive strategy implementation. </li></ul> <p>Performance Measurement:</p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain metrics and key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and strategy execution. </li><li>Regularly report on progress, outcomes, and adjustments to strategy as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Engagement:</p> <ul> <li>Act as a key advisor to senior management on US TI&I strategy and initiatives. </li><li>Collaborate with US and Canadian business partners to ensure US TI&I strategic concepts are appropriately reflected in Line of Business and Functional Group strategies. </li></ul> <p>Executive Presentations:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and facilitate the creation of presentation materials for both Executive Management and Board of Directors </li><li>Ensure messaging is consistent across teams and is in alignment with strategies </li></ul> <p>Communications and Employee Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the creation and execution of the US TI&I employee communications plan </li><li>Lead employee engagement activities for US TI&I </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, information technology, or an equal combination of education in a related field and industry experience. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, corporate planning, or a related field. </li><li>Proven experience in leading technology and operations strategy initiatives and projects. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and their business applications. </li><li>Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets. </li><li>Driven by success with established business judgement. </li><li>Proactive, well-organized and results-oriented. </li><li>Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently. </li><li>Highly motivated, perseverant, and resilient in pursuing objectives despite challenges. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills sufficient to clearly articulate complex conceptual information and ideas to senior leadership. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and team skills and are comfortable working in flexible and collaborative environment. </li><li>Strong analytical skills; ability to apply logical solutions to business problems. </li><li>Embrace and champion change to deliver optimal results. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <ul> <li>This role operates within a hybrid work environment with a mix of in office and remote work </li></ul> <p>At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $185,000.00 - $205,000.00 for the Chicago market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
