<p>Department</p> <p>Environmental Services</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Following established procedures, operates a variety of equipment, both electrical and battery-powered, to refinish and maintain tile floors and extract carpets. Assists in the training of other employees on existing and new equipment on proper techniques and procedures pertinent to the job at hand.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Require two (2) years of experience operating a variety of electrical and battery powered equipment and floor care/maintenance equipment. </li><li>Require availability to work on weekends, holidays and other shifts. </li><li>Require basic ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prefer successful L2 background screening for behavioral health facility access. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education</p> <p>HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate</p> <p>Preferred License and Certs</p> <p>FDL: Valid Driver's License</p> <p>Employment Screening Requirements</p> <p>As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p>
