Performs in-process testing on fiber reactor liquids and on liquids being filtered. Accountable to follow all SOPs and GMPs.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>o Monitor and maintain fiber reactors</p> <p>o Lock out reactors and perform an air quality test</p> <p>o Load aluminum ingots (use hoist when needed)</p> <p>o Dispose of banding and replace pallets as necessary</p> <p>o Perform HCL and H2O additions</p> <p>o Monitor and maintain reactor levels until batch completion</p> <p>o Pump off fiber reactor liquid to designated tank</p> <p>o Aerate, sample and read tank levels</p> <ul> <li>Filter, transfer, and adjust liquids as described in standard operating procedures </li><li>Operate a forklift to load and unload materials, transport products, and assist in material handling activities </li><li>Fill finished product containers as described in standard operating procedures </li><li>Manufacture zirconium batches per work order requirements </li><li>Inspect equipment to include, but not limited to forklifts, pumps, lines/hoses, fittings, ladders, etc. </li><li>Accurately record all pertinent processing data, including the addition of raw materials or intermediate products while processing. </li><li>Fulfill written work orders as assigned </li><li>Strong commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to regulatory standards </li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) </li><li>All other tasks assigned by supervision and/or management. </li></ul> <p>Additional Job Description</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>Education: High School Diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Special Requirements and Independency:</p> <p>Traveling Required: n/a</p> <p>Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, reach, stoop, squat, climb ramps & stairs, push and pull, reach at or below waist level and occasionally overhead, drive (forklift), hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (machinery alarms).</p> <ul> <li>Fit for duty physical is required </li></ul> <p>Job Competencies</p> <p>IT Skills: Microsoft Suite experience is preferred but not required</p> <p>Language Skills: Ability to speak, write, and read English.</p> <p>Interpersonal Skills: Adaptability, collaboration, communication</p> <p>Problem Solving: Critical thinking, prioritization, flexibility</p> <p>Teamwork: Reliability, Accountability, Respect for Diversity</p> <p>Communication: Nonverbal, written, and oral skills are required</p> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>External Field</p> <p>The base pay rate is $22.00.
