Headquartered in Dublin, California, we help clients modernize enterprise applications through innovative cloud migration, automation, and managed service solutions.</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Oracle WebCenter Administrator to lead the migration of our on-premises WebCenter environment (version 12.x) with a SQL Server backend to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with Oracle Database. The role also includes upgrading WebCenter to version 14 or the latest supported release, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance throughout the transition.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Migration Planning & Execution </li><li>Design and implement a migration strategy from on-prem WebCenter (SQL Server backend) to OCI with Oracle Database. </li><li>Migrate WebCenter components including DOMAIN_HOME, ORACLE_HOME, and WCS_SHARED directories. </li><li>Upgrade & Configuration </li><li>Upgrade WebCenter from version 12.x to 14.x or latest, including patching and compatibility validation. </li><li>Reconfigure WebCenter Sites, Content, and Portal components post-upgrade. </li><li>Update JDBC connections, bootstrap credentials, and hostname references. </li><li>Security & Compliance </li><li>Integrate with enterprise identity providers (OID, AD, SAML). </li><li>Manage SSL certificates and ensure secure access to WebCenter applications. </li><li>Maintain audit trails and ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliance. </li><li>Performance & Monitoring </li><li>Tune JVM, WebLogic, and database performance. </li><li>Monitor system health and automate alerts using OCI tools and third-party solutions. </li><li>OCI Deployment & Optimization (Optional) </li><li>Provision and configure OCI resources (Compute, Storage, Networking). </li><li>Deploy Oracle Database (Autonomous or VM-based) and ensure secure connectivity. </li><li>Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies across OCI regions. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Experience</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience administering Oracle WebCenter Sites/Content/Portal. </li><li>Proven experience migrating WebCenter from on-prem to OCI. </li><li>Proven experience in configuring the webcenter components </li><li>Strong knowledge of Oracle Database (19c or later) and SQL Server. </li><li>Experience with WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server, and Fusion Middleware. </li><li>Familiarity with OCI services: Compute, Autonomous DB, Object Storage, Load Balancer. </li><li>Understanding of SSO, LDAP, and certificate management. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. </li><li>Experience with Repository Creation Utility (RCU) and Oracle Identity Management. </li></ul> <p>Bonus Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Internet Directory (OID). </li><li>Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or OCI Architect certification. </li></ul>
