<p>Plumbing Technician JobID: 885</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Support 12-Month</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>3/3/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>District Service Center</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt</p> <p>Shift: Days</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Enable Tulsa Tech facilities to maintain a necessary state of readiness for staff and students by providing timely installation and repair of plumbing in new construction and remodels.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Works under the direction of the licensed Plumbing Lead Technician.</p> </li><li> <p>Install plumbing components with a minimum of disruption of classes, offices, or work areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot and repair problems with plumbing; restoring use with appropriate expediency.</p> </li><li> <p>Test and verify plumbing components at completion point to ensure the installation is ready for users.</p> </li><li> <p>Determine material orders; price materials; order materials for new construction and remodel projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage critical time frames for job completion; accommodate changing plans and specifications during job installation.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain District compliance with plumbing codes for projects under the supervision of the Plumbing Lead Technician.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.</p> </li></ol> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This position requires a minimum of three years experience working as a Journeyman Plumber. </li><li>State of Oklahoma Journeyman Plumbing License required. </li><li>Valid state issued driver's license. </li><li>Bilingual is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Salary Schedule:</p> <p>Facilities Support</p> <p>Hiring Range:</p> <p>$45,550 to $50,318 dependent on experience, plus additional $9,600 compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Employee Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Sick Leave, Vacation, Personal Leave, Pension Plan, 457 Savings Plan, and 25 paid holidays</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>For maximum consideration, receipt of application material is March 10th.
